Inmates to Entrepreneurs

Inmates to Entrepreneurs

Each year, over 600,000 individuals are released from prison, eager to rebuild their lives and contribute to society. Yet, despite their motivation and job-seeking efforts, they face unemployment rates five times higher than the national average. A past conviction often overshadows their potential, with background checks and online searches making reintegration into the workforce an uphill battle.

This systemic barrier fuels a cycle of economic hardship, leaving many with limited options and increasing the likelihood of reoffending. Inmates to Entrepreneurs aims to break this cycle by providing free in-person and online education, empowering individuals with criminal records to create their own opportunities through small business ownership.

Turning Struggles into Strength
